The short version: Help in Poland is a free community directory. English-speaking plumbers, lawyers, accountants and many more list themselves here. You browse, you find someone, you contact them directly. We are not a service company and we are not part of the job itself.
Is Help in Poland a company that sends workers to my home?
No. We are a free community directory. You find the person, you contact them directly, and you agree the terms with them. We are not part of the job or the payment. Think of us as a noticeboard, not a booking platform.
Who checks the providers?
We hand-review every listing before it goes live to make sure it is a real person offering a real service in English. We do not verify qualifications, insurance, or run background checks. Always ask for references and proof of credentials before hiring someone for serious work.
How much does it cost?
Free. For seekers and for providers. Always. We are a community project, not a commercial service. There are no premium tiers or paid features today.
Who runs Help in Poland?
A small team of expats who experienced the same problem the site solves: it is hard to find English-speaking help in Poland when you do not yet speak Polish. We built this to fix that. Not a company, not for profit.
What happens if I have a problem with a provider?
Contact the provider directly first to try to resolve it. If a listing is fraudulent, abusive, or impersonating someone, use the Report button on the provider page and we will investigate. We cannot mediate disputes, enforce contracts, or offer refunds, because we are a directory and not a booking platform.
Can I list my services?
Yes. Any English-speaking service provider in Poland can list for free. Sign up, pick your service categories and city, add a short description, and submit. We hand-review every listing before it goes live, usually within a day.
Do you have providers in my city?
We are growing every week. Many providers list themselves as available across All Poland (especially lawyers, accountants, translators and other remote-friendly trades). If you cannot find someone in your city today, check back soon or use the Suggest a service link to tell us what you need.
Why is the directory still small?
We just launched. The fastest way you can help is by sharing the site with one English-speaking provider you trust, or with a friend who is looking for one. That is how the directory grows.
